Security Stepped Up At Local Malls As The Holiday Shopping Season Begins

Sweetwater Police launching "Operation Safe Holiday" at Dolphin Mall with two weeks to go until Black Friday. Chief Sergio Diez says they're beefing up the police presence, using drones, cameras and license plate readers to keep shoppers safe. He advises shoppers to keep their merchandise with them at all times and only shop in pairs after dark. If you see something, say something. Police have a mobile command center stationed on-site throughout the operation. There is a zero-tolerance policy for criminals. Anyone nabbed will be arrested and prosecuted.
