The Desperate State of Democrats - Top 3 Takeaways – June 2nd, 2025 - Driven By Braman Motorcars
Takeaway #1: Be a little meaner
Anyone who still doubts whether there’s a mental health crisis in this country needs to look no further than the Democrat Party and one of its defacto leaders as they look for direction. Over the weekend, while delivering a keynote address to the South Carolina Democrat Party – Minnesota governor and former Kamala Harris running mate, Tim Walz, aka Timpon, had these words of wisdom for his fellow Democrats: Maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner, maybe it's time for us to be a little more fierce because we have to ferociously push back on this (referring to President Trump’s agenda). That was part of what Timpon had to say regarding the “change in attitude” he believes is necessary within the Democrat Party. So apparently multiple attempts to murder Donald Trump, including one which resulted in him being shot isn’t “mean” enough for Timpon and the room of Democrats who cheered him on – providing insight into the true troubling makeup of the people who are in the upper echelons of party leadership these days. These are tough words for a man who clearly looked like a fish out of water when handed a hunting rifle on the campaign trail last year, and who oversaw the implementation of tampon dispensers in boys bathrooms in Minnesota’s public schools – because ya know – you never know when a 13-year old boy is going to need one. Again – these people are not mentally well and reinforcing this point was Walz’s subsequent message at said Democrat get together...
Takeaway #2: Bully the S...out of him
You know what we don’t apparently have enough of in our society today? Bullying. You know, if only we had more bullying – that'd would fix a lot of things, don’t you think? Well, that’s the logic according to Timpon Walz and the deeply disturbing Democrats who cheered him on over the weekend. Walz continued with his speech by saying: I'll speak to my teacher colleagues in here. The thing that bothers a teacher more than anything is to watch a bully...and when it's a child you talk to him and you tell him why bullying's wrong, but when it's an adult like Donald Trump you bully the s*** out of him back. You push back, you make sure they know it's not there, because at heart—at heart, this is a weak, cruel man that takes it out and punches down on people. What they don't want to do is stand toe-to-toe and punch back with someone who's calling him out for what they do who's being there. And after suggesting to his “teacher colleagues” that bullying the blank out of President Trump was the answer he added the obligatory comment that President Trump is: the existential threat that we knew was coming. Yeah, there’s a heck of a lot to make fun of here. But at the same time, it’s not exactly funny when you have a call for a meaner and effectively more violent party – at least rhetorically – and there’s a huge ovation and audience within the remaining party faithful for that message. This would be all kinds of outrageous and irresponsible without multiple assassination attempts on Trump – it's that much more outrageous given that they’ve happened. A recent National Institutes of Health study identified that 59.3 million adults, or about 23%, suffer from mental health illness. That number seemed high until I was reminded of the mentally unwell state of the Democrat Party. These are clearly troubled people with a disturbing message for the country and action plan for opposing President Trump’s agenda. A recent Pew Research Center study found 74% of parents with school aged children were concerned about bullying in schools. 46% of students said they had been bullied, with only 6% of students saying bullying wasn’t a problem in school (probably the population of bullies). And here you literally have Tim Walz telling teachers that they need to bully the blank out of the President of the United States. Any questions? This is a desperate party with desperate people saying dangerous things to attempt to gain traction. Even if you oppose President Trump’s policies do you really identify with this? Do you really want to be associated with these deeply disturbed people leading the party and the messaging?
Takeaway #3: June Will Be Less Queer This Year
Gay, straight – something none of us need thrown in our faces is sexuality. And this just in, being “proud” of one’s sexuality is close to the lowest form of the human condition. If you’re to be “proud” of something – how about accomplishing something rather than just “being something” - just a thought (although in today’s homosexual alphabet society I suppose you do have many who’ve taken extraordinary steps to deny their God-given biology). But anyway – as we wade into June there figures to be much less corporate queer cheer this year. A new study shows 39% of businesses will reduce or eliminate their “pride” participation this year with no corporations stating that they were increasing activity. The number 1 reason cited by business leaders for the change– the new administration. The number 2 reason cited – fear of backlash from conservative consumers. As is stated by James in the Bible: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Or as is stated in Proverbs: When pride comes, then comes disgrace. And from Bud Light, to Target with many others in between that’s what we’ve seen. It’s almost like God said it would be that way – oh way – oh wait he did. Doing the right thing – is always the right thing. Blindly following pop culture in modern society is a means to an end in more ways than one. So yeah – we figure to have less ‘pride’ thrown in our faces this year – which is in direct response to what you’ve voted for at the polls and with your wallet. It’s been working – keep it up.
