#17th-Ranked Gators Fall To #3 Georgia

The 3rd-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1 SEC) defeated the 17th-ranked Florida Gatos (5-3, 3-3) 27-8 on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta in the World's Largest Cocktail Party.

Georgia took advantage of four Florida turnovers in the win. Chris Cole returned a fumble-recovery 66-yards for a touchdown for Georgia - he also scored on an 85-yard return. The Bulldogs out-rushed the Gators 217-48 to set the tone on the ground.

Aaron Philo struggled at quarterback for Florida in his return after missing the Texas game with a right shoulder injury, and was benched after throwing two interceptions. Tramell Jones Jr went 18-for-25 with 172 yards passing and an interception the rest of the game.

The Gators will look to bounce back when they host Oklahoma next Saturday. Kickoff between the Sooners and Gators is scheduled for 7:45 PM on Saturday night in Gainesville.
