Broward County, FL - A Florida private school teacher has been fired for sharing controversial social media posts about the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The teacher, who worked at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, expressed support for Israel and questioned the legitimacy of reports documenting Hamas atrocities.

In one of her posts, the teacher wrote: "What happened on Oct. 7 didn't come out of nowhere."

Officials say this statement appeared to downplay the severity of the Hamas attacks, suggesting that they were justified or provoked.

Another post directly challenged the existence of Hamas atrocities, claiming that stories of beheadings, rapes, and murders were fabricated.

The teacher urged her followers to "do their own research," implying that mainstream media outlets were deliberately misrepresenting the conflict.

Pine Crest School, which serves students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, has not issued a public statement regarding the teacher's dismissal.

However, the school's website emphasizes its commitment to promoting "a diverse school population and intolerance for discrimination."
