Two affordable housing projects were unveiled at Tuesday's Palm Beach County Commission meeting.
The projects are a 168-unit rental complex in Belle Glade and a 54-unit rental complex in Palm Springs, at the corner of Congress Avenue and Palm Springs Boulevard.
The development will provide affordable housing for veterans. Rent for that project will be about half of what the current market calls for.
Both projects will require at least 40 percent of the units to be rented out to families whose household incomes do not surpass 60 percent of the area's median income.
