Riviera Beach Police is targeting gang members.
The agency's VICE unit teamed up with multiple law enforcement agencies on Friday, including SWAT teams from Royal Palm Beach Police, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and West Palm Beach Police.
They served search warrants at seven homes in Riviera Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach and seized four firearms, several high-capacity magazines and narcotics packaged for sale.
Rivera Beach Police Chief Michael Coleman says the operation represented a significant step foward in their ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of the community. He says the message is that criminal activity will not be tolerated.
