The City of West Palm Beach is also offering an opportunity to view the first solar eclipse since 2017.
Theyāve partnered with Dr. Steven Schiff of the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches, who will bring a telescope fitted with a solar filter for safe up-close viewing.
Dr. Schiff will also be on hand to provide expertise and answer questions.
The Downtown Development Authority is also providing free solar glasses to view the event safely.
The event will take place outside Salento Coffee, which near the West Palm Beach City Hall Courtyard along Clematis St. It's happening from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.
