Jupiter Medical Center is once again getting an "A" grade from a national watchdog group that analyzes hospital data.

The Leapfrog Group has just released its Hospital Safety Grades and Jupiter Medical is the only facility in Palm Beach or Martin Counties to get the top grade. This latest recognition marks the eleventh Leapfrog "A" grade for the hospital since the fall of 2018.

The nonprofit grades hospitals twice a year based on a number of factors including rates of preventable errors, injuries and infections.

Leapfrog also recognized Jupiter Medical Center as a "Top Hospital" last year, referencing its "outstanding performance in overall hospital quality and safety." It was the only hospital in Southeast Florida to earn that designation.
