Former President Trump says donations are rolling in since he was convicted in the hush money criminal trial.

"They raised with small money donors a record $39 million in about a ten hour period."

At Trump Tower in New York this morning, Trump saying what he considers to be the Biden administration's attempts to interfere with the November election may have backfired.

According to the Trump campaign, the $38.4 million is from 485,000 donors.

After the verdict, a group of Trump supporters gathered near Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

"We have to standby our president right now and our country, if we don't we're going to lose everything. This is a third-world country right now. First, the judge's instructions to the jury was complete and total nonsense. Nonsense it's not even legal. Not even legal what he did," said Heather Dowling to CBS 12 News.

A counter protestor was also on hand. Luke Waterman was carrying a sign reading "Lock Him Up."

"Look is this the right case to have been brought for him, should he go to jail for this? No. He's a disgrace, it's a disgrace to the county."

The protestors were gathered along the Southern Boulevard Bridge, across the water from the former president's Palm Beach home.
