Broward School Board Delays Vote On Transgender Athlete

The Broward School Board delaying a decision on whether or not an information specialist at Monarch High School should be fired for allowing her transgender daughter to play on the girls' volleyball team. Board member Torey Alston says he cannot decide the fate of Jessica Norton until he has all the facts. Norton faces firing for violating Florida's "Fairness In Women's Sports Act" The school board is expected to vote on this at their next meeting Tuesday.
