A teen with alleged ties to a white supremacist group is charged with threatening to blow up the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

18-year old Curtis Hodges of Kentucky is accused of calling the agency in August and threatening to detonate a bomb, saying "I am going to blow you up." He claimed to be at PBSO and said he would set off a bomb in 13 minutes and then hung up.

The Sheriff's office was evacuated and a search was conducted, turning up no explosives. Deputies traced the phone call to an IP address at Hodges' home in Louisville.

Investigators later uncovered that the teen is in a violent online group called "764 Group," which is known for encouraging self-harm among minors and producing child sexual abuse material.

He was arrested after a search of his home earlier this month.
