Some local police officers will be getting raises.
The Palm Beach County School Board last night approved a 5 percent pay increase for school district police officers, along with a 3 percent bonus.
The raises will be retroactive from January 1st of this year.
The force and the school board had been negotiating for several months and had been at a stalemate over a new contract.
There are more than 200 uniformed officers working in county schools.
