Broward Immigrant Students Attend "Rally In Tally"

One-hundred-fifty newly arrived immigrants in Broward Public Schools taking part in the "Rally to Tally" for new Floridians. Spokeswoman Osiris De los Rios says the four-day field trip gives students the opportunity to see first-hand how the legislative system works. The goal is to bring the democratic process alive for students learning about state history and government. Students will also tour the state capital and four univeristies including the University of Florida
