OSHA is investigating after a man was pulled into a wood chipper he was operating this morning.
The victim, who was a contracted employee for a tree service company hired by the Palm Beach County town of Ocean Ridge, died from his injuries.
The town manager says the company, Carlton Tree Service, was hired by the town to trim the trees on the property of its Town Hall and Police Department.
While she didn't offer details about how he was pulled into the chipper, she believes he went head first.
Boynton Beach Fire Rescue is providing grief counseling to witnesses and town staff who need it.
