A West Palm Beach non-profit is keeping a close eye on a massive fire that erupted at a warehouse this morning.
The building at 420 Claremore Drive is owned by Jack The Bike Man Inc. and the organization is updating the community on social media.
A post notes that the bike shop, which is attached to the building, is at risk due to the possibility of the warehouse collapsing on it.
The blaze was so bad that homes nearby had to be evacuated.
Nobody was hurt in the fire which resulted in the closure of a stretch of Dixie Highway in the area and firefighters had to run a hose under the FEC train tracks near the building.
Brightline and freight trains are currently running in the area.
Jack The Bike Man Inc. is named after the late Jack Hairston, and repairs donated bicycles to give to underprivileged children in the community. Hairston died in 2023 but his nonprofit attempts to do the work that he began years ago.
