A search is underway for a 32-year old man who fell overboard from a boat near the Lake Worth Inlet last night.
The Coast Guard says the man fell from a 26-foot boat about 17 miles southeast of the inlet.
A search team from the Coast Guard station in Miami started their search as the sun came up this morning . It has now moved north to an area near Stuart in Martin County due to the gulfstream and currents.
Officials say conditions are posing significant challenges, including rough seas that measure 12 feet with swells up to 16 feet.
