FLORIDA - In the latest U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 Best Places to Live rankings, 17 cities in Florida have been recognized for their exceptional livability.

The rankings evaluate over 850 U.S. cities based on factors such as quality of life, job market strength, housing affordability, net migration, and residents' desire to live in the area.

Leading the Florida cities, Parkland secured the 59th spot nationally, boasting a median household income of $209,914 and an unemployment rate of 2.82%.

Other notable Florida cities in the top 250 include Palm Harbor (68), Weston (74), Jupiter (124), and Ormond Beach (162).

Nationally, Johns Creek, Georgia, claimed the top position, praised for its strong job market, low crime rate, and high quality of life.

The city's diverse population and excellent public schools contribute to its appeal.

The rankings are based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Department of Commerce, Federal Reserve, and public surveys reflecting Americans' preferences.
