Miami-Dade Could Revive School Bus Safety Program

The Miami-Dade School Board working on ways to revive the school bus safety camera program. The board is voting on due process options for the program suspended six months ago because ticket holders had no clear way to challenge citations. School Board member Danny Espino wants the board to vote to allow the Division of Administrative Hearings to review the 86-hundred cases in question. The cameras are used to nab drivers who don't stop for school buses with 225-dollar tickets.
