Tampa, FL - A 26-year-old Florida man was arrested after allegedly throwing a cheeseburger at a strip club manager during a dispute outside Atlantis Gentlemen's Club in the Tampa area.

Jordan Cotto, a former employee of the club, reportedly arrived on Saturday night to speak with management and became involved in a verbal argument with a male victim.

During the confrontation, authorities say Cotto allegedly retrieved a cheeseburger from his vehicle and threw it at the victim, striking him on the shoulder and causing minor bodily harm.

Law enforcement officers questioned Cotto at the scene, and he reportedly admitted to throwing the cheeseburger, stating he would do it again.

No weapons were involved in the incident. Cotto was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery.

He was booked into the county jail and later released on his own recognizance.
The court issued an order preventing him from contacting the victim, but there were no restrictions placed on his possession of cheeseburgers.

This incident follows a previous arrest last month, in which Cotto was accused of burglarizing his uncle’s boat and stealing a firearm, which he reportedly sold to a relative for $300.

Prosecutors declined to pursue felony charges in that case, determining that the circumstances did not warrant prosecution.

Authorities continue to investigate the cheeseburger-throwing incident as a misdemeanor battery case.

While the victim sustained minor injuries, law enforcement confirmed there were no weapons or serious harm involved.

The case has attracted attention due to the unusual nature of the alleged conduct, which highlights the legal implications of actions that may appear trivial.
