Palm Beach, FL - The FBI is investigating a suspicious hunting stand discovered near Palm Beach International Airport that had a direct line of sight to where President Donald Trump exits Air Force One.

The U.S. Secret Service identified the structure on Thursday during routine security sweeps ahead of Trump’s arrival in Florida on Friday.

No individuals were found at the scene, and the discovery did not affect airport operations or the president’s movements.

Anthony Guglielmi, spokesperson for the Secret Service, confirmed that the agency is working closely with the FBI and local law enforcement in Palm Beach County to determine the origin and purpose of the structure.

The stand was discovered during advanced security preparations, which included physical sweeps and technology-based monitoring.

Authorities reported that the stand appeared to have been in place for several months, suggesting it was not installed specifically for Trump’s visit.

The elevated platform offered a clear view of the area where Air Force One lands and where the president typically disembarks.

No weapons or explosives were found at the site, but law enforcement continues to analyze evidence to assess any potential threats.

The FBI is leading the investigation, using available forensic and analytic resources to identify any individuals allegedly involved in placing the stand.

This incident comes amid heightened security measures for Trump’s travels.

As of now, no arrests have been made.

Officials continue to review all information related to the discovery and are coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure ongoing safety around the airport and for the president.
