A fast-moving cold front will drive through the area tonight and also steer Melissa away from the East coast.
There may be a few brief showers overnight then dry cool weather for tomorrow.
Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s in Central and South Florida, while freezing temps are likely in the Panhandle.
Areas like Jacksonville and Pensacola may see temperatures below 32°F, with freeze warnings possible for several locations.
Central Florida can expect lows in the mid-to-upper 40s, with daytime highs remaining in the 50s and 60s.
South Florida temps will be milder with lows in the mid-50s and daytime highs in the 70s and 80s.
Then Friday morning, temps will dip into the upper 40s to low 50s and highs in the low 70s.
Also, due to the remnants of Melissa conditions will remain hazardous for boaters and beachgoers, with a high risk of rip currents.
Expect pleasant weather for Halloween on Friday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
Also, mild and dry conditions will continue into the weekend with afternoon highs in the lower 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
The cold front is part of a larger weather system that has already brought severe weather in other parts of the country.
