The last time a Cuban leader appeared on this show as in 1959 when Fidel Castro was interviewed during his first visit to Washington D.C. Yesterday, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel went on the air saying he's willing to die resisting President Trump as the communist island braces for an attack. Cuba expert Dr. Andy Gomez says the communist island is struggling economically with food, water, medicine and housing shortages. Its electrical grid is also failing. He says Diaz-Canel mistakenly blames the U-S economic embargo, but the regime is to blame for its failures the past 68 years.
