Labor Groups Demand Fair Practices Ahead Of World Cup

With less than 100 days to go until the World Cup, fair labor advocates are speaking out. Dozens of labor and community groups demanding accountability when it comes to standards, safety and transparency ahead of the World Cup. AFL-CIO's Chris Beckford is crying foul--says they submitted 104 labor friendly contractors from local unions and the Miami host committee has not hired one. They're demanding the host committee guarantee fair wages and equal pay, ensure full transparency for all contractors and require staffing agencies to provide reports about conditions.
