The property tax cut plan going on the ballot in November is under the microscope a day after it was approved by state lawmakers. Former State Senator Jeffrey Brandes [[bran-diss]] says an exemption was made for public school revenue, but other government entities may suffer. The proposal would need at least 60-percent of the vote. If it passes, it would up the homestead exemption to 150-thousand-dollars in 2027, and 250 thousand in 2028.
