Israel, Iran, NoKings & Old People w/An Old Playbook – Top 3 Takeaways – June 13th, 2025 - Driven By Braman Motorcars
Takeaway #1: Iranian (Nuclear) War?
Times are especially tense in the middle-east. Iran isn’t even trying to hide their development of nuclear weapons anymore, and Israel decided not to wait anymore to do something about it. On Thursday, when asked as to if Israel should Iran’s nuclear sites, President Trump said: I don’t want to say imminent, but it looks like it’s something that could very well happen. But he also made it clear that he didn’t want it to happen. As Trump said: We are fairly close to a pretty good agreement. I don’t want them going in, because I think it would blow it. Trump recently said he’s working on an Iranian plan, and even mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin, an ally of Iran, had offered to help, as Russia doesn’t want Iran having nukes either. In the words of President Trump he’d: Love to avoid the conflict. Israel clearly decided not to wait. The attack by Israel on Iran is said to have been successful in striking Iran’s suspected top nuclear enrichment facility. In response, Iran launched approximately 100 drones at Israel in an attack that appears to have had little impact. Stand by for more news...
Takeaway #2: Old People, Old playbook, new name
The (original) XFL, Betamax, the DeLorean. Know what those have in common? The last time they were relevant was about the last time the Real organizers behind this week’s attempted “NoKings” protests were relevant. They’re also incidentally all things that would be a better use of your time this weekend than partaking in any of the attempted “No Kings” events...yes even – rewatching 25-year-old footage of “He Hate Me” has more value. Speaking of value...did you know that a decent condition DeLorean sells for over $100k today ($99 thousand of that is surely attributable to Dr. Emmett Brown and Marty McFly)? So, about the relics of something that once were relevant. It’s trivia time... I’m going to provide approval ratings, and you tell me who you think they’re assigned to. First up is 17%. Your hint is that this is the approval rating for a prominent person who made his money by collapsing things and carries the nickname “Spooky Dude”, yes, it’s George Soros. Next up is 27%. Your hint is that it’s the approval rating for a party whose mascot is an ass, and its members commonly are too. Yes, that’s the approval rating for Democrats. Next up is 29%. This belongs to a politician you don’t want to meet in a dark alley (until potentially recently – he is looking somewhat frail these days). Yes, that’s Chuck Schumer’s approval rating. And one last one for an entity that’s massively contributing to promoting what’s being attempted this weekend. It’s 31% and that belongs to your GSS (legacy) news media. Now what is this all about and how is this related? They’re the Real people and entities behind this weekend’s attempted “No Kings” protest events. If you’re asking your friends if they want to watch the game with you – this weekend, no one’s going to be happy with you if it’s footage of the XFL. If you ask your friends if they want to watch a movie with you, few would be happy if you broke out the Betamax. And until Back to the Future came out very few wanted to take a in a DeLorean (that’s why the company went under three years before the movie came out). Btw, just in case you’ve got $100k burning a hole in your pocket and a serious case of nostalgia, unless you simply want to put its doors up and leave it in a showroom, it’s sure to disappoint you. It was truly a sports car in name only. It’s 0-60 speed: 10.5 seconds. For comparison’s sake, a base model Honda Accord is a relative thrill as it can get you there in about 7 seconds. So back to the attempted protests at hand this weekend. How many people do you think might show up for nationwide protests orchestrated by Chuck Schumer, peddled by his fellow Democrats and paid for by George Soros? Based on the approval ratings of that group – potentially not even the paid political hacks at Act Blue. After all, if you’re peddling poo, you don’t ask people if they want a piece of ....(poo). At a minimum you might ask if they might be interested in meeting your friend Mr. Hankey. In today’s Q&A I break down exactly what’s behind this weekend’s planned protests, but the bottom line is this. It’s a bunch of washed up old Marxists with a failed political party and a failed legacy news media attempting to create a BLM summer of 2020 reboot. There’s nothing organic about this weekend’s planned protests. Literally every entity behind the creation and promotion of this is more poorly thought of by the American public than President Trump and it’ll only work if you let it.
Takeaway #3: The Army’s 250th Birthday and Flag Day
The real reason President Trump is hosting a military parade in Washington, D.C. on Saturday is because it’s the Army’s 250th Birthday and Flag Day – not because it’s also coincidentally his 79th birthday. So, about that. Founded as the Continental Army on June 14th, 1775, over 30 million Americans have served in the U.S. Army, as it’s served as not only the oldest but also the largest of the country’s military branches with 3% of living Americans having served in the US Army. The Army was responsible for mapping America, leading the Lewis & Clark expedition. Over half, (24) of the 45 American presidents served in the Army and the footprint of the Army’s bases is larger than the geography of two states – Hawaii and Massachusetts combined. God speed to all who’ve served and a Happy 250th birthday to the fighting force that established and has maintained the freedom that allows the anti-American “NoKings” Marxists to protest.
