President Trump Dropped the MOPs & The World Is on the Brink of Unprecedented Peace – Top 3 Takeaways – June 23rd, 2025 - Driven By Braman Motorcars
Takeaway #1: Unprecedented Peace
It turned out that President Trump’s “two weeks” for additional negotiation with Iran turned out to be more like two days before the President decided to break out The Gap Band’s greatest hit on Iran. Now, on the one hand, it might sound odd to start off this week with a message of unprecedented peace as war has been raging for years in Ukraine with Russia and the U.S. has now officially entered the Israel-Iran war having successfully deployed the most destructive non-nuclear bombs on the planet. But actually, based on the precision of the attack, the limited nature of the attack, and the perceived success of the attack – that's exactly what we’re seeing. There’s much more to the story... As I mentioned Wednesday of last week... <<The easy thing to do, at least for now, is nothing and just led Israel pummel Iran’s government and infrastructure into the ground with a hope that something better comes out of it. But does that necessarily mean that the hard thing is the right thing? Not necessarily. If you think your way through this, if there’s any realistic thought that the U.S. should intervene, there would almost necessarily need to be preliminary agreement between President’s Trump, Putin and Xi – that they’d let the U.S.>> So, walk with me for a moment on this. It’s quite clear that the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism, Iran – has been neutered, with regime change from the terror sponsoring Ayatollah-regime a very real possibility. As President Trump said during his address Saturday night: Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. This view has been backed by numerous nuclear experts including Jonathan Schanzer, Executive Director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies who told Fox News following the attack that... The nuclear program is no longer. For decades, U.S. Presidents and leaders from around the world have said “Iran can never have a nuclear weapon”. But all along Iran played games to continue to develop nuclear weapons . In a matter of minutes, with the deployment of MOP bombs, that all ended. There is no doubt that the world is a safer place today because Iran’s nuclear program is done and because...
Takeaway #2: Donald Trump is president of the United States
During the Biden administration I’d regularly say that everyday Joe Biden was president of the United States the world was less safe. Every day that Donald Trump is president of the United States the world is proving to be a safer place. As I referenced, there’s no doubt that the Trump administration had been in contact with, and weighed the consideration of, the potential for U.S. involvement in Iran to escalate into at worst what could become World War III. As I mentioned multiple times last week... China isn’t just China, it’s Russia, it’s Iran, it’s North Korea (with Little Rocket Man), it’s Cuba, it’s Venezuela and Nicaragua. But while allied, what that doesn’t mean is that their objectives are all the same. While the Mullahs in Iran, are Islamic zealots practicing Shria law, China actively persecutes Muslims, and faith of any kind is about the furthest thing from Putin’s mind. Their common interest is oil and for China and Russia, to have something of an ally with a significant foothold in the region. Recently I’d mentioned that on a call with President Trump, President Putin agreed that Iran shouldn’t have nuclear weapons. And as far as China goes, a country with over 600 nuclear war heads and growing...they’ve issued a statement that there can never be a nuclear war. What this means is that for Iran no help is coming. And it never did. Here’s China’s statement following the U.S.’s MOPs dropping: China strongly condemns the US attacks on Iran and bombing of nuclear facilities under the safeguards of the IAEA. The actions of the US seriously violate the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law, and have exacerbated tensions in the Middle East. China calls on the parties to the conflict, Israel in particular, to reach a ceasefire as soon as possible, ensure the safety of civilians, and start dialogue and negotiation. While many in news media were quick to report “China strongly condemns...yada, yada” - the fact of the matter is that the statement was...
Takeaway #3: As benign as it could be
China didn’t call for retaliation – they called for peace. And as for Russia’s statement: The confrontational actions of the U.S. and Israel must be collectively rejected. The irresponsible decision to subject the territory of a sovereign state to missile and bomb strikes, no matter what arguments are used, is grossly violating international law, the U.N. Charter, and the resolutions of the U.N. Security Council. Coming from Russia, the invader of Ukraine, that’s downright hilarious. But again – it’s also nothing more than rhetorical posturing. That there’s no escalation in conflict coming from the U.S.’s two biggest adversaries who are also Iran’s two biggest allies tells you all you need to know. Ding dong, Iran’s nuclear program appears dead. The world’s leader sponsor of terror is on the brink, China and Russia are calling for peace (which btw, so is the United States as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday: “The US doesn't seek war”). Additionally, you might recall that President Trump was treated like he was an Arabian king on his recent visit to the middle east. None of this points to military escalation and the potential for World War III. All of it points towards the potential for unprecedented peace.
