We’re Set Unprecedented Success – Top 3 Takeaways – June 25th, 2025

We’re Set Unprecedented Success – Top 3 Takeaways – June 25th, 2025 - Driven By Braman Motorcars

Takeaway #1: Unprecedented success

My top takeaway the past couple of days has been about the unprecedented peace in the middle east, that I first predicted on Monday would be the result of President Trump’s actions following Saturday’s successful dropping of the MOPs on Iran’s nuclear facilities and elaborated on Tuesday following the Israel-Iran ceasefire. Now that the ceasefire has held – in large part due to President Trump’s strong words for both sides as he made his way to the NATO summit, where his leadership on the world stage has already netted a major win. All NATO countries, except for Spain, have agreed to President Trump’s demands for an increase in defense spending to hit 5% of their GDP. This was a focus of President Trump’s first administration and it’s clearly in focus in his second administration. Gone are the days of boots on the ground and forever wars and the United States paying, in more ways than one, to be the world’s military/police force. We’re now into the days where it’s 14 MOPs dropped on nuclear facilities that we’d heard could be threat to the world for decades, and done. It’s making it clear that the rest of the world has to pay its fair share to maintain its military and to contribute to peace and stability. It’s a time where we're positioned for unprecedented success. And it happens to be a place we were in just over five years ago before the impact of the China virus. Remember when we had record low unemployment rates, a 4% growth economy, a 1% inflation rate, the best wage growth since the 90’s, the lowest crime rates in decades and an end to illegal immigration... along with relative peace and stability? In other words, do you remember when President Trump had essentially made America Great Again – just prior to the pandemic? We’ll, we’re now on a path towards unprecedented success. Much of the first five months of President Trump’s second administration has been about putting out fires and cleaning up the mess that was left behind by Dementia Joe and Team Autopen. And some of the mess in this country and around the world will take more time to address, like Russia’s Ukrainian invasion that three years later is still a hot topic at NATO – where Zelensky, president of a non-NATO country – has once again crashed the party. But speaking of cleaning up Biden’s messes and invasion – there’s an awful lot of work to do on Biden’s permitted illegal immigrant invasion...by the way we’ve learned from ICE this week that 435,719 illegal immigrants with known criminal convictions were released by ICE into our communities under the Biden administration with an additional 226,847 that have pending charges against them – these are among the bad hombres, that the bad hombres in robes are forcing the Trump administration to keep in our country – though this week’s Supreme Court ruling lifting on stay on deportations for especially bad hombres - will help. Speaking of something that helps and unprecedented success... The latest numbers from Customs and Border Patrol show that attempted border crossings are down 93% from a year ago and those gaining access to our country across the border remain at record recorded lows. But if there’s anything that we’ve learned by now after four years and five months, it’s to...

Takeaway #2: Trust Trump's process

I think it’s 50-50 that one day you may once again see Elon Musk where his hat that says, “Trump was right about everything”. That’s because in time, President Trump has proven to be right about just about everything and importantly all the major things. So, what does this mean? It’s time to pass the BBB. As President Trump returns from NATO (assuming Iranian-Israeli peace holds) attention will quickly turn from foreign affairs to legislative affairs and specifically the fate of the Trump 2.0 agenda as is contained in the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act. Right now, if you pay any attention to the OBBB, you’ll hear a lot about the Senate Parliamentarian. She’s currently flagging things in the bill, that theoretically violate what is known as the “Bryd Rule”. A senate rule named after longtime Democrat Senator and KKK organizer Robert Byrd. The “rule” stipulates what can be considered in a reconciliation vote in the senate (a vote that only requires a simple majority to pass), as opposed to a standard vote which requires 60 votes to pass through a filibuster. Two points on this, first, what the Parliamentarian finds isn’t binding. It's possible for the President of the Senate (currently VP JD Vance) to overrule the parliamentarian. Second point. The Senate is currently set to be out of session next week. President Trump’s goal right along was to have his OBBB ready to sign on the 4th of July. The Senate should NOT leave D.C. until they’ve passed Trump’s OBBB. Trump’s doing everything he possibly can to Make America Great Again, again – but he needs Congress to do its part too.

Takeaway #3: It was a good run

Yesterday, for about half a day, Tropical Storm Andrea was a thing (at least in theory – after all it peaked at 40 mph in the north central Atlantic). But anyway, that made Andrea the first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season. It’s the sixth latest start to the season we’ve had over the past 26 years, and it’s the latest start we’ve had to a season since 2014. Let’s hope that it’s a sign of things to come (or to not come our way as the case happens to be this year).
