  • The Palm Beach County Commission voted unanimously to rename Southern Blvd. between Kirk Road and South Ocean Blvd. “President Donald J. Trump Blvd.”. The vote came after a state law enacted recognizing the name change for the stretch of road leading to Mar-a-Lago and frequented by President Trump. In a related move, Southern Blvd. Between Lion Country Safari and Royal Palm Beach Blvd. has been renamed PBSO Motorman Highway in honor of three fallen deputies last year. The name changes won’t impact addresses or 911 responses. In response President Trump thanked Palm Beach County, Governor DeSantis and the state’s lawmakers.
