- A new study by Brainly shows Florida is lagging in the AI race. According to the study entitled the States Most (and Least) Prepared to Win the AI Race in 2025, Florida’s 6th for the percentage of businesses using AI as a regular part of operation (11%) while ranking 35th overall for AI–related studies and degrees nationally showing a potential growing disconnect between the needs of businesses and the skills of those entering the workforce.
- It'll be mostly cloudy, humid with a chance of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day today with highs in mid 80’s, which is typical for this date. Similar weather is expected through Wednesday. A Saharan dust plume is currently moving south of Florida into the Gulf with another plume currently working across the central Atlantic.
- The National Hurricane Center is tracking a disturbance that’s currently crossing Florida from the Atlantic towards the Gulf. The system is currently given a 30% chance for development as it tracks westward along the northern Gulf.
- Gas prices fell through the weekend, reaching new lows for the year in the process. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $2.93 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.10 per gallon, in Martin the average is $2.94 and in Indian River County the average is $2.95 per gallon.
