Israeli Peace & What It Means in the Middle East – Top 3 Takeaways

Israeli Peace & What It Means in the Middle East – Top 3 Takeaways, October 9th, 2025

Takeaway #1: Blessed Are the Peacemakers

For two consecutive years outright war following the most horrific attack on Jews since the Holocaust took place. 1195 Israelis were murdered in Hamas’s horrific terrorist attack with an additional 240 hostages taken. On Monday we’re told the remaining 48 hostages held by Hamas will be going home. There is to be the closest thing to peace that Middle East has known currently taking place as phase 1 of President Trump’s peace plan has been agreed to by both Israel and Hamas. As President Trump outlined nearly two weeks ago, he believes there can be relative peace between Israel with a transitional governing body of people of the Palestinian territories. Out of that framework he believes there can be a lasting peace ...something historically we’ve never seen. While it remains to be seen (if it will ever be publicly seen) what the precise details of the plan agreed are... I was able to obtain the originally outlined 21-point plan agreed to by Israeli Prime Minister Bejamin Netanyahu...that I shared with you early last week. Here’s a refresh as to what was in it, the presumably was mostly agreed to in the end by Hamas. 1. Gaza will be de-radicalized 2. Gaza will be redeveloped 3. Israel & Hamas will immediately end the war 4. All hostages kept by Hamas must be returned 5. Once hostages are obtained Israel will release over 1,000 Gazans held as prisoners of war. 6. Remaining members of Hamas will be granted amnesty. 7. Aid will surge into Gaza. 8. Aid will be distributed by the U.N. 9. Gaza will be governed by a transitional government of Palestinian technocrats under supervision by the U.S, Arab and Euro partners. 10. An economic plan aimed at stability for Gazans is to be adopted. 11. An economic zone with reduced tariffs is to be offered to the transitional government. 12. Gazan property owners will be allowed to retain their properties. No one will be forced to leave during redevelopment. 13. All remaining Hamas infrastructure and weaponry is to be destroyed. 14. A security guarantee is to be provided to the people of Israel that Gazans will pose no threat. 15. The U.S., Arab and European partners will provide a stabilization force that will develop and train a police force and will retain a presence as an internal security body. 16. Previous boundaries to October 7th, 2023, will apply. Israel will cede all occupied Palestinian territory currently under its command. 17. If Hamas rejects the terms, the plan will continue as outlined in “terror free” areas. 18. Israel will not carry out future strikes in Qatar. 19. Interfaith dialogue and education will be mandatory with the Gazan citizenry aimed at de-radicalizing the population. 20. If all previous steps are completed a path towards Palestinian statehood may be recognized. 21. The U.S. will act as a permanent arbiter and facilitator of constructive dialogue between Israel and Palestinians. So that’s the plan. It’s a real chance for greatness, which truly would be a great thing if it came to be, because peace in that region is something we’ve never seen sustained. However, there’s...

Takeaway #2: The need to remain diligent and skeptical

Because this is still about Islam. As I’ve shared with you over the years, what Hamas has done and what other Islamic terror organizations continue to do is precisely what the Quran calls on them to do. The Quran’s chapters are known as Sura’s and in Sura 9:5 you’ll find: So, when the sacred months expire, kill the Mushriks (believers in other gods) wherever you find them, and catch them and besiege them and sit in ambush for them everywhere. When the [four] forbidden months are over, wherever you encounter the idolaters, kill them, seize them, besiege them, wait for them at every lookout post. In Sura 47:4 it states: When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads. In Sura 4:76 it states: The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan. And lest there be any doubt there is Sura 48:29 which states: Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. So, yeah. The Quran has always called for and continues to call for acts that we recognize as terror against everyone who isn’t “with Muhammad”. That evil ideology that’s motivated Hamas, ISIS, Al Queda, the Muslim Brotherhood and all of the others isn’t going away. The Quran hasn’t changed in 1,500 years. Sharia law hasn’t changed in 1,500 years. Terrorism under it hasn’t changed in 1,500 years. The only thing that has changed over the past 1,500 years is political correctness which has gotten people killed. On that note...

Takeaway #3: What Hamas is about...

Since 2006 a designated terrorist organization, Hamas, has led the Palestinian territories. The same terrorist organization which in its charter, in 1988, stated: The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine. Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it. Palestine is an Islamic land... Since this is the case, the Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem wherever he may be. The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews' usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Now, given that this is Hamas’ charter...given that Hamas has carried out the greatest atrocities against the Jewish people since the Holocaust...given that Hamas remains the next-door neighbor of Israel and has made clear that they don’t believe in ceasefires or peaceful solutions... It’s appropriate to take their words at face value. They don’t intend for peace. They’re simply regrouping. Today is a great day, make no mistake, but this isn’t the end because for those who believe as Hamas believes, the end is Jihad. Which means our willingness to keep the peace by keeping Islamic terrorists at bay will be the key to maintaining it.
