- Dozens of School Districts across the state, including Palm Beach, Martin and Indian River Counties, received bomb threats via email. Authorities determined the threats were non-credible “swatting” attempts. The threats warned of setting off bombs at schools across the state unless ransoms were paid in cryptocurrency. Authorities, led by the FBI, are investigating the threat as they search for the perpetrator.
- Supporters of Charlie Kirk led a large protest outside of the Palm Beach County School District headquarters Wednesday afternoon demanding the resignation of School Board member Edwin Ferguson. Ferguson referred to the late faith-based conservative activist Charlie Kirk as a “racist bigot” while also comparing him to Adolf Hitler. A counter protest in support of Ferguson was held by the local chapter of the NAACP. The Palm Beach County School District has refused to take a position on the matter, and Ferguson, who admitted he wasn’t familiar with Kirk until after his assassination, has yet to apologize stating that he intends to run for reelection.

In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.14 per gallon, in Martin the average is $3.01, it’s $2.99 in St. Lucie, and in Indian River County the average is $2.98 per gallon
