The Biden Administration Was Evil – The Political Left Still Is – Top 3 Takeaways, October 23rd, 2025
Takeaway #1: The Biden administration was evil
That’s not hyperbole. That’s not said for sensationalism. And in the context of my saying that there are two sides to stories and one side to facts, it’s not an opinion. It’s a demonstrable fact. That is unless it is your opinion that it’s not evil for the federal government to intentionally deny emergency aid to people in need during a declared national emergency due to their political beliefs. You may recall it was about a year ago in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton that ominous information about FEMA began to trickle in. As I noted at the time... Currently my vacation home in the North Carolina mountains is undergoing renovations following the flooding Helene brought to our home and the region (btw, they’re still going on but that’s another story). That we’re able to renovate as opposed to needing to replace makes us among the most fortunate in the area. This was a note I received from a friend on October 24th, nearly a month after the impact of the storm when she finally was able to communicate with the outside world once again: “Honestly, we have all been in shock. 6 of my neighbors washed away. But almost a month later we are cleaning up and building back and moving forward. We will have these mountains back to normal in no time”. You know who wasn’t around? FEMA. In fact, following the impact of Hurricane Helene, here’s a list of all the people I was told made it to the area to provide assistance to those in need before FEMA. The North Carolina National Guard, The Florida National Guard (in fact many of our neighbors told us that Governor DeSantis had done more in the immediate aftermath of the storm than their own governor had done – let alone FEMA), The Tennessee National Guard and Greg Biffle. What we came to learn is that it’s possible that many of these communities which commonly voted 70 to 80 percent for Donald Trump were intentionally avoided. FEMA showed up in the liberal bastion of Asheville, but not in most of the bright red surrounding areas. When we talked to the President of our HOA about FEMA – the response was a laugh. They never showed up and when attempts were made for potential claims through the community, they were denied. That’s consistent as we came to learn following Hurricane Milton’s impact in Florida, a supervisor issued an order that properties with displays for Donald Trump were to be avoided. Specifically, it was documented that there were 20 homes in Lake Placid where people were in need of assistance and yet FEMA deliberately passed them over. That revelation led to FEMA firing a supervisor they said was responsible. However, here’s what that supervisor said that I brought to you at that time: According to Marn’i Washington, the fired FEMA supervisor: Why is this coming down on me? I am the person that jotted down the notes from my superiors and my notation in [Microsoft] Teams chat was exposed from their search capacity team. This was the culture. They were already avoiding these homes based on community trends from hostile political encounters. It has nothing to do with the campaign sign. It just so happened to be part of the community trend. But I'm just simply executing again, what was coming down from my superiors. That supports the whistle-blower's claim that the practice wasn’t isolated to one supervisor on the ground in Florida, and thus it may also explain the slow or even non-existent FEMA response in North Carolina’s most conservative mountain communities that had been devastated. And here we where I ended this train of thought a year ago... Could you imagine if first responders denied assistance to people in need based upon political beliefs? Yet that’s exactly what emergency management workers in Florida did. That much we know. The questions are how high did the directive go and how pervasive is the practice?
Takeaway #2: Well now we know
We have a fresh press release from the Department of Homeland Security entitled: DHS Exposes how FEMA Officials Under the Biden Administration Systematically Refused Aid to Disaster Survivors on Purely Political Discrimination, Refers Case to the Department of Justice. The title says a lot. What’s in the 22-page report says much more. The Biden’s administration's abuse of FEMA started right away. DHS documented FEMA field workers documenting information about political affiliations and gun ownership that factored into whether emergency relief would be provided to individual homeowners and at times whole communities...starting in year one. The DHS report shows that starting with Hurricane Ida, which struck Louisiana in August of 2021. What this means is that victims of at least 491 emergencies that FEMA responded to, including 233 declared disasters between August of 2021 and January of 2025 were potentially denied assistance due to political affiliation or gun ownership. In Florida, this included periods covering the impacts of Hurricanes Salley, Ian, Nicole, Idalia, Debby, Helene, and Milton (in addition to a rash of tornadoes in April of 2023 – that brought about a major disaster declaration). So now we know how pervasive the policy happened to be. And it precisely corroborates the Florida field supervisor who said she was scapegoated when she was fired. She said political notes and political avoidance was standard operating procedure at FEMA under the Biden administration, that it was part of the culture and the evidence shows that she was exactly right. All instances of this occurring are in flagrant violation of federal law, in addition to being unconscionable things to do. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has referred this entire investigation to the Department of Justice for further investigation and potential prosecution, in addition to the Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General. All related practices and policies have obviously been scrapped by FEMA, and additional training, oversight and auditing of emergency responses have been ordered. But here’s the thing and it can’t be overstated.
Takeaway #3: These people are evil
And by these people I’m talking about the political Left in this country. I seriously doubt President Biden ordered political discrimination take place within FEMA but someone at a high level did. And then consider this. Not one person in supervisory ranks, for that matter not one field worker – until a whistleblower after Hurricane Milton, stepped forward at any point for nearly four years as people were denied emergency aid based on perceived political preferences. Not one. Seriously? How broken of a person do you have to be to think that’s ok? But that’s organizationally what took place at FEMA. Now do you think this only existed or still exists only at FEMA? We already know about the past weaponization and political targeting of the IRS and DHS under the Obama and Biden administrations. What this illustrates, as the partial government shutdown is in its 23rd day, is the need to permanently shrink the size of federal government agencies. There must be accountability; there must be a change to the status quo. A smaller, more sustainable federal government stands a much better chance of being transparent and accountable. But the political Left in this country responsible for these things? They’re evil. But then again wasn’t that recently clear when they cheered the assassination of Charlie Kirk? But truth be told unless you’re a godlless, soulless, leftist like them – what they thought of Charlie Kirk is what they think of you too. But remember...they should be teaching your kids too. It’s just a “free speech” issue. When you reject God as the Left has – this is what you get. And when they get old, what you saw on display last Saturday is what you get.
