- Amid the ongoing partial government shutdown, air traffic at Palm Beach International Airport has begun to be affected. While the airport isn’t among the 40 busiest airports that saw traffic reduced by the FAA starting on Friday, the ripple effect has reached the airport with a total of 42 flight cancellations at PBI from Friday through Sunday. All travelers should pay close attention to flight schedules.
- 2025 will be yet another record year for tourism in Palm Beach County, according to Discover the Palm Beaches. At the annual State of the Tourism Industry event, the county’s marketing organization said tourism’s impact within the Palm Beaches will total $10.5 billion this year.

- Gas prices reached fresh multi-year lows over the weekend. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $2.84 per gallon - 12 cents lower than a week ago. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.00 per gallon, in Martin the average is $2.91, it’s $2.86 in St. Lucie, and in Indian River County the average is $2.85 per gallon.
