  • Florida remained the top destination for international real-estate buyers and South Florida remained the top destination for international investors worldwide in 2025; and continues to top the list for interest in 2026 according to an annual international real estate report. Florida has now been the top international destination for 15 consecutive years. Approximately 15% of all real estate purchases in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metro were the result of foreign buyers. Meanwhile... 
  • Florida’s population growth has averaged just over 500 people per day over the past year – about half the peak rate post-pandemic, with all of the growth coming from net migration into the state.  
  • The KDVA Florida Chapter is holding a free meet and greet event at Mission BBQ at Saint Lucie West, in Port St. Lucie this upcoming Monday, President’s Day from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The event is free and open to all veterans and their families. RSVP at KDVA.vet 
  • Seasonal weather today. After starting in the 50’s, the high will reach the upper 70's. Similar weather is expected into the weekend as well. 
  • Gas prices rose another three cents per gallon on Tuesday. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $2.94 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.10 per gallon, in Martin the average is $2.95, it’s $2.98 in St. Lucie, and in Indian River County the average is $2.96 per gallon.
